Order of Vytautas the Great with the Golden Chain

Obverse

Parts of the Golden Chain form a double cross, graced with a stylized V. Both edges of the Chain are linked by the central part, the form and ornaments of which are taken from the Seal of Vytautas the Great. The Cross of the Order is suspended from the Golden Chain. The Cross is made of gold and covered with white enamel (50 mm). On the obverse, a stylized rider is set against a red shield. Above the shield is the Grand Crown of the Duke. The same shield, with a V in the middle is on the reverse. The years of the rule of Vytautas the Great (1392-1430) are engraved on the edges of the Cross. The golden royal crown with three crystal stones is placed above the Cross.

The Star

The Star: golden, nine rays, 85 mm in diameter. In the center, a smaller version of the Cross of the Order of Vytautas the Great with a golden crown above is set against a background of red enamel.
