Medal of the Order of Vytautas the Great

The medal is silver, 36 mm in diameter. The badge of Cross of the Order of Vytautas the Great is set on the obverse. The royal crown, the inscription "Vytautas the Great" and the years of his rule (1392-1430) are on the reverse. The medal is suspended from a breast ribbon of the Order of Vytautas the Great. The breast ribbon is white moiré, 32 mm wide. It features two orange stripes on the sides. If the awarded person has distinguished himself in battles or at work posing risk to human life, crossed silver swords are attached to the breast ribbon.
