Commemorative Medal of 13 January

The medal is silver, 36 mm in diameter. The image of an injured warrior leaning against an angel is on the obverse. In his right hand, the warrior holds a shield with Gediminas Columns. Inscriptions "January 13" and "1991" are at the top and at the bottom. The inscription "Lithuania" is on the reverse with the words "We were, we are and we will be" engraved in smaller letters. Vytis and an oak twig are at the top and at the bottom. The breast ribbon is yellow moiré, 32 mm wide. It features black and red stripes on the sides and two green stripes in the middle.
