The Baltic Times: Grybauskaitė still the most popular politician n Lithuania

In September the Lithuanian people have given best evaluations to four public figures - the head of the country Dalia Grybauskaitė, the ex-president Valdas Adamkus, parliament's speaker Irena Degutienė and the euro-parliamentarian Vilija Blinkevičiūtė.

By far, like before, the current president Dalia Grybauskaitė is in the lead - she was positively evaluated by 88% of all respondents. Adamkus was given positive valuation by 60%, Degutienė - by 53%, and Blinkevičiūtė by 52% of all interrogation participants.

These public figures were given more then 50% of votes by the respondents. The biggest leap in the public rating was made by parliament's speaker Degutienė, who was able to gain 24%.

Four other public figures were evaluated rather positively - these would be vice-speaker Česlovas Juršėnas, parliamentarian Algirdas Butkevičius, SEB bank president's adviser Gitanas Nausėda and an attorney Kęstutis Čilinskas.
